About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at MYROTIPLACE EXPRESS. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation.
  • Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our culinary team.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or catering firm environment.
  • Cuisine Specialties: South Indian cuisine.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
