About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Arts Professional to join our team at My roti place My dosa place. As an Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus for our restaurant, taking into account customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, including South Indian cuisine, to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
