At Marketers on Demand, we are currently searching for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Toronto. This is a one-year hybrid contract opportunity with a leading client.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will create comprehensive on-boarding and manuals for company products and deliver technical training sessions. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that manuals describe safe practices
  • Preparing operation manuals, maintenance manuals, and user guides for products by researching technical documents and interviewing technical resources
  • Designing and delivering courses for classroom, instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning formats
  • Performing Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
  • Documenting operating procedures, troubleshooting strategies, preventive, and corrective maintenance procedures for distributed systems

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in preparing technical documentation and delivering technical training
  • Degree or diploma in electrical engineering
  • Technical training experience with complex systems and solutions
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuitry
  • Strong professional writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide lucrative referral bonuses if your referrals are hired.
