We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Dartmouth Crossing Hotel II Limited Partnership. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the hotel's facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners, heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Task Execution: Execute tasks such as cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, moving heavy furniture and equipment, and performing safety and security checks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, power sweepers, carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, and waxing machines.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve maintenance and repair issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a maintenance and repair role.
- Language: English.
- Availability: Availability to work shift or on-call hours.
