Handyman / Maintenance Technician

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Must be able to handle basic repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to patching, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, with understanding of HVAC systems. (*Mandatory Requirements*)**
Coordinate with the Property Manager to ensure timely completion of work order requests.
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment when tenants move out.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis.
Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Repair appliances, equipment, or structures as necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a property management setting.
Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
Valid driver's license.
**Working Conditions**:
This position requires both indoor and outdoor work. In the course of performing the job, the Maintenance Technician will have to move around the properties, ascend/descend stairs, and work around moving machinery and equipment.

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
