Job DescriptionProject Lead, Mechanical Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Canada. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for taking design projects from start to finish, applying a high level of technical, professional engineering and consulting expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take design projects from conceptual design through completion, ensuring technical quality and cost-effectiveness;
- Coordinate with clients to understand their objectives and deliver solutions that meet their needs;
- Lead a team of designers and technicians to develop detailed designs, including calculations, specifications, and drawings;
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery;
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills and QualificationsMechanical Engineer Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience in a mechanical consulting engineering environment;
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P. Eng.) or equivalent;
- Secret-level security clearance;
- LEED Accreditation and sustainable design experience desirable;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carrier Hourly Analysis (HAP), Trane TRACE software, and Microsoft Office required.
