Job Summary

The Project Portfolio Analyst will support portfolio management for all IT projects managed by the Project Delivery Team. This role is accountable for maintaining and reviewing IT Project Portfolio Management methodologies and processes, developing and maintaining project portfolio intake process, project reporting framework, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The successful candidate will have a diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution. They must have sound experience in Project Portfolio Management methodologies and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), creating procedures and documenting processes, managing project resources, using project management and project scheduling software, and project management principles and processes.

This role requires good problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. The ideal candidate should be able to create reports, charts, and graphs for executive management, present data, ideas, and new processes clearly and concisely to various audiences, build and maintain good working relationships with business and IT stakeholders, and work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and review IT Project Portfolio Management methodologies and processes
  • Develop and maintain project portfolio intake process, project reporting framework, and KPIs
  • Support resource management and change management at portfolio level
  • Analyze project information to provide insights to project managers
  • Provide technical support for the team on project management technologies
