Director of Care Operations

About the Role:
The Director of Care Operations will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services at Blenheim Lodge. This position will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day direct care operations of the care home, working closely with the Director of Resident Care to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day direct care operations of the care home, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support.
- Monitor and mentor nursing and care staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide the best possible care to residents.
- Coordinate resident admissions and discharges, health needs, and care plans, working closely with healthcare professionals and families.
- Liaise with physicians, families, and residents to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
- Prepare reports for internal and external submissions, providing insights into the care home's operations and resident outcomes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and experience with medication management.
- Familiarity with the needs and challenges of individuals in assisted living or nursing home settings.
- Understanding of dementia care techniques and strategies for supporting individuals with memory loss.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $85,000.00-$121,000.00 per year.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Supervising experience (5 years preferred).
Language and Certification:
- English (required).
- RN or RPN Certification (required).
