Your Work Environment at EXP

In this role, you will be part of the Environmental team, based in our Burnaby office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently managing various environmental investigation projects (Phase I, II ESA's/Stage 1, 2 PSIs II, Detailed Site Investigation, Remediation);
  • Project planning, implementation, coordinating fieldwork
  • Review of project budgets, expenses to ensure good project performance;
  • Preparation and review of reports for due diligence investigations, and submissions to the BC Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy for instruments (COC, AiP, Determination);
  • Proposal preparation for various clients, demonstrated skills and abilities to develop positive business relationships with clients;
  • Management of provincial and/or federal contaminated sites assessments, site remediation, some risk assessments (human or ecological);
  • Supervision of junior and intermediate professionals.
  • Experience with hazardous material surveys/mitigation projects is considered an asset.

What Your Experience Looks Like

  • Minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience in BC. Candidates with additional experience will be considered.
  • University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geoscience
  • Professional status or designation
  • Team player
  • Demonstrated experience in project management on various small, medium, and large projects;
  • The ability to deal tactfully and effectively with clients and co-workers
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Business development skills
