Senior Marine Warranty Engineer/Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Marine Warranty Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore transportation and installation engineering, with a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

As a Senior Marine Warranty Engineer/Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Technical document reviews and site attendances to ensure compliance with MWS requirements.
  • Meeting project schedules and budgets for MWS projects.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with agreed technical standards and industry codes.
  • Managing MWS projects, including delegating tasks, report writing, and cost control.

We offer a dynamic hybrid schedule, with three days per week spent working from our DNV office or client location/site. You will need to be flexible to travel domestically, internationally, and to offshore locations for periods of time, sometimes at short notice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Structural Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or Master Mariner.
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P) certification.
  • Relevant knowledge of Loadout, Installation, and Transportation methods, Codes of Practice, Rules, and Guidelines.
  • Experience delivering MWS/Consultancy projects within schedule and on budget.
  • Current Offshore medical.
  • Offshore installation experience.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility in working conditions, including a willingness to travel offshore and domestic/international often adhoc or at very short notice.
  • Motivation to learn and grow their professional career.
  • Team Player, ability to multi-task, and logical thinking.

Preferred qualifications include SOMWS membership, BOSIET/GWO Certificate, and relevant offshore load out, transportation, and installation experience.
