Food Service Team Lead

Pita Land is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, including cooks, food preparers, and counter attendants, to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their full potential.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor food quality and service standards to ensure that they meet our high expectations.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including budget and cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.

Working Conditions:
