We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at JGA Investments Inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
Job Summary:The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
The Line Cook will work in a restaurant setting, with a focus on Mexican cuisine. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
