We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Apple Creek Animal Hospital in Markham, ON.
Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, patient assessment, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including detailed and accurate documentation of patient care.
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and problem-solve or seek clarification when needed.
- Develop strong interpersonal skills in working with colleagues and pet parents.
- Stay up-to-date with continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Completion of a Veterinary Technician or AHT program.
- Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
