Apple Creek Animal Hospital in Markham, ON is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician, RVT to join our team. We offer a local community feel, mentorship, and additional training opportunities.

  • Completion of a Veterinary Technician or AHT program
  • New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy are welcome to apply
  • Surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery
  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
  • Compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to ask clarifying questions
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues and pet parents
  • Passion for learning and growing within the role
  • A love for all companion animals

Schedule: Evenings and weekends are required.
