Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 CAD, depending on experience.

Job Summary

As a Registered Veterinary Technician with VCA Canada, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide anesthesia monitoring
  • Conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and perform laboratory tests
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their owners
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A certificate or diploma in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program
  • Eligibility to register as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ontario
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for learning and professional development
