Job Title: Junior Parts Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Parts Advisor to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships.

Job Purpose:

The Junior Parts Advisor will be responsible for responding to customers and technicians' parts requirements through over-the-counter and phone sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist internal and external customers with their parts needs.
  • Ensure customers are aware of the entire product line and accessories.
  • Follow cash handling procedures as outlined.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures for handling cash and other payment methods.
  • Pack and load parts correctly, and maintain dispatch documentation.
  • Report stock damage or losses to the Parts Manager.
  • Maintain a clean work area and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Attend training courses and stay up-to-date on new and improved products.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a retail auto parts department.
  • Proficient in CDK and/or Reynolds and Reynolds software systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Professional appearance and friendly disposition.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
