Nurse Care Specialist

RhynoCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with our healthcare team, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with our healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Comfort: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, including timely and accessible admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications and supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Skills and Experience: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge and Competencies: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
