Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Place dishes in storage areas and ensure they are properly labeled and dated.
  • Food Preparation and Handling
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in kitchen.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and secure manner.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Supply Management
