Job Description

Vention, a leading manufacturer, seeks an exceptional leader to oversee its global manufacturing operations. As Vice President of Manufacturing and Procurement, you will be responsible for scaling production capacity, optimizing inventory turns, and improving service levels.

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation in a fast-paced environment. With a team of 30 supply chain and manufacturing professionals, you will leverage a global procurement network of 200+ suppliers and 3,000+ SKUs to achieve strategic goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the global manufacturing strategy across North America and EMEA distribution centers.
  • Scale production capacity by setting up structured assembly processes and cadences.
  • Improve assembly productivity through process optimization and quality initiatives.
  • Operate client-assembly services, ensuring quality, margin, and lead-time targets are met.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also:

  • Participate in product development, driving supply chain and manufacturing deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality team to drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive selected manufacturing outsourcing activities to reduce costs.

As a seasoned professional with 10+ years of manufacturing experience and 5+ years of sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation expertise, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to this role. A strong data analytics background and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to run complex analyses independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • A passion for optimizing assembly lines and supply chains.

Vention offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as flexible paid time off and remote work policies.
