Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Reflex Physiotherapy.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer tests and procedures to patients, under the direction of physiotherapists, to assess and monitor their physical abilities.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including setting up and dismantling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Carry out treatment programs, as directed by physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, and maintain clinical and progress reports.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • MS Office skills and attention to detail.
