Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Reflex Physiotherapy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physiotherapists in their daily tasks.

Work Setting

Our physiotherapy clinic is located in a remote location, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be working in a medical clinic, home care and visiting care agency, hospital, or nursing home/home for the aged, providing care to patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and assist health care professionals in their daily tasks.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports, and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
