Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at Oakes Truck Sales. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with truck systems, including engine, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
  • Estimate repair costs and communicate with customers to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
