Job Summary

The Behavior Analyst is responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of ABA treatment plans for patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with individuals with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train Behavior Technicians, family members, or caregivers on ABA treatment plans and implementation
  • Communicate program changes to caregivers and the ABA team
  • Complete six-month authorization reports
  • Provide 1-on-1 ABA therapy for patients within assigned caseloads, as needed and recommended in treatment plans
  • Act as a liaison between Behavior Technicians, family members, or caregivers, and other service providers
  • Conduct supervision for patients within assigned caseloads, either in person or via telehealth, as clinically recommended
  • Monitor weekly progress and present updates of patient programs and behavior during supervision and team meetings
  • Update and maintain programs
  • Timely creation of reports, progress reports, set Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and assessments as needed, with the assistance of the Assistant Director
  • Manage scheduled hours to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks, including supervision time and direct work with assigned patients

Requirements:

  • Minimum Master's Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Current BCBA certification through the BACB or LPA license through the Psychology Board
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Work may be performed in the home, ABA Therapy Center, community, or outdoor environments, as required by the patient's treatment program
  • Must be able to lift and carry patients as needed
  • Must be able to assume and maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods
  • Must be willing and able to restrain, hold, transport, and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan when working with children with challenging behaviors
  • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection
  • Must be able to receive feedback from supervisors and use it as a means to reflect on strengths and weaknesses and build on previously learned competencies
  • Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites
  • Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance in good standing
  • Able to drive a motor vehicle
  • Lift/push/pull/move up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to physically move for up to 8 hours a day

Compensation:

$85,000 - $100,000 plus monthly commissions
