Job Title: Family Physician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Family Physician to join our team at the Galiano Health Care Center. As a Family Physician, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients in a rural community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing emergency care and support to patients as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and health goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Family Physician in the province of British Columbia.
- Completion of a Family Medicine residency program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
