Family Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Family Physician to join our team at the Galiano Health Care Center. As a locum physician, you will provide primary care services to our patients, working closely with our Medical Office Assistants and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, acute care, and chronic disease management.
- Work collaboratively with our Medical Office Assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in emergency care, including responding to walk-in patients and providing urgent care as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours care and support to patients as needed.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Canada.
- Experience in family medicine, with a focus on primary care and emergency care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
