Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Young Pocha Korean BBQ Restaurant. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Assist with food presentation, including plating and garnishing dishes
  • Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving food
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a kitchen environment an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be required to work effectively in this environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
