Senior Account Manager, Sales and Account Management

AbeBooks is a leading online marketplace for rare and collectible books. We're seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Sales and Account Management team, driving business growth and fostering long-term relationships with partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive top-line growth in the collectibles business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including rare book dealers and collectors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business growth strategies
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including partnerships with institutions and other high-value customers
- Develop and standardize processes for partner management, ensuring seamless execution and maximum ROI
The Sales and Account Management team is responsible for driving business growth, managing key accounts, and improving the seller experience. We work closely with Marketing and Product teams to develop and execute strategies that drive business results. Our team is distributed across two locations, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
Requirements- 6+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of driving business growth
- Experience working with small and medium business owners, as well as institutions and high-value customers
- Knowledge of e-commerce, rare bookselling, and collecting
- Experience building programs from scratch and developing business growth strategies
- Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
