Job Title: Automotive Service Mechanics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Mechanics Supervisor to join our team at Mr. Lube Brantford. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of service technicians and other team members
  • Estimate costs and materials for repairs and maintenance
  • Operate computer software systems to manage work orders and inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in the recruitment and hiring process
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the automotive service industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment
