About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at 2002869 Alberta Ltd. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced early childhood educators to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Collaborate with educators or supervisors to maintain accurate records of children's progress and activities.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in various activities, such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation, to encourage their growth and development.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for children during lunch and rest periods.
  • Observations and Reporting: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, providing valuable insights into their development.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress, address any concerns, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
