About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at 1957322 Alberta Inc. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers
  • Developing and Implementing Child-Care Programs
  • Storytelling and Engaging Children in Activities
  • Assisting with Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Preparing Snacks and Arranging Rooms for Lunch and Rest Periods
  • Observing Children for Signs of Potential Learning or Behavioural Problems
Work Environment

Our childcare centre is a dynamic and supportive environment where you will work with a team of experienced educators to provide high-quality care to children. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent care and support to children.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • Work Site Environment: Noisy
  • Work Setting: Child Care Centre, Day Care Centre or Nursery School
  • Supervision: 5-10 People
  • Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses: Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1)
  • Security and Safety: Criminal Record Check
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own Transportation, Public Transportation Available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive Tasks, Attention to Detail, Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, Flexibility, Reliability, Team Player
  • Experience: 2 Years to Less than 3 Years
  • Language of Work: English
  • Hours of Work: 32 to 40 Hours per Week
