Temporary Heating Systems Specialist

United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company in the world, is offering an excellent opportunity for a Gas Fitter ready to grow their career with the industry leader. To continue our success and growth, we are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual to perform manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, maintain and tear down temporary heating systems
  • Work with propane and natural gas systems
  • Servicing and maintaining construction heaters
  • Install black iron pipe systems

Requirements:

  • Gas Fitter B or registered apprentice (level 1 completed)
  • Must have class 5 license and clean driving record
  • Solid knowledge of the gas code
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Experience in temporary construction heating is an asset
  • Must have the ability to work overtime hours, including on-call shifts and possible weekends
