Professional Gas Fitter

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and tearing down temporary heating systems, working with propane and natural gas systems, and servicing and maintaining construction heaters, including black iron pipe installation. A strong commitment to providing superior customer service is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, maintain, and tear down temporary heating systems
  • Work with propane and natural gas systems
  • Servicing and maintaining construction heaters
  • Install black iron pipe

We offer a competitive wage of $36.05 with guaranteed annual increases, plus an additional $4.60 per hour union pension contribution, on-call premiums, and opportunities for growth with tuition reimbursement.

Requirements:
  • Gas Fitter B or registered apprentice (level 1 completed)
  • Must have class 5 license and clean driving record
  • Sound knowledge of the gas code
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in temporary construction heating is an asset
  • Ability to work overtime hours, including on-call shifts and possible weekends
  • Experience in HVAC services considered an asset
