Job Summary
The BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for processing staffing, scheduling, and other human resources tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather timesheets and accurately enter information into the scheduling and timekeeping system.
- Maintain current and accurate employee records.
- Point of contact between employees and Payroll regarding various employee benefits.
- Coordinate vacation planning for staff.
- Work with the HR team to process HR transactions and assist on various HR projects.
- Maintain and organize filing systems.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience related to human resources, scheduling, and timekeeping.
- Solid understanding of various articles of Collective Agreements related to staffing and scheduling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws in BC.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Familiarity with ESP Payroll Software is an asset.
- Experience working in a multiple unionized healthcare organization in BC will be an asset.
- A Bachelor in Human Resources/Business Administration degree or CPHR certification will be an asset.

- Ability to maintain sustained attention to detail in preparing and recording timekeeping transactions with a high level of accuracy.
