About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Contract Administrator to join our team at WalterFedy. As a key member of our design and construction collective, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and ensure project compliance with project vision, design intent, timeline, and budget.
- Oversee project documents, including tender evaluations, contracts, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Provide leadership to the consultant team, fostering accountability for project success.
- Collaborate with the Contract Coordinator for timely information exchange and assist in preparing PCs, SIs, and RFIs.
- Mentor design teams, monitor work quality, and conduct deficiency reviews before substantial completion.
- Issue project sign-off letters, collect and review close-out documents, and schedule/attend one-year warranty walk-through.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in construction, site supervision, and/or contract administration for architectural services.
- Architectural education or certification in architecture, construction, and engineering technology (ACET).
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within design and contract administration teams and with internal and external clients.
- Client-focused approach, adept at resolving complex contracting issues with win-win solutions while meeting company requirements and design intent.
- Previous experience with Project Management software preferred.
