Job Title: Clinical Counsellor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Counsellor to join our team at Kelly Mental Health. As a Clinical Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality counselling services to our clients, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Counsellor will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidence-based approaches
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of mental health
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
  • Registration with the relevant professional association (e.g. Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association)
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
