Job Description:

As the Manager of the BC Beverage Technology Access Centre (BCBTAC), you will play a key leadership role in driving the success of the center. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic business plans, overseeing daily operations, and managing a team of technical and service personnel. You will also be responsible for ensuring the center meets its annual revenue and service goals, as well as maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in client-focused organizations, technical and service personnel management, and beverage development, production, analysis, and business operations. A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, combined with an MBA or MSc in Oenology, Food Science, Bio-chemistry, or related science degree, is required. Additionally, you must have a thorough understanding and previous experience in the production and marketing of at least one fermented, brewed, or distilled beverage, as well as experience working with a Board or Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

A proven ability to travel, self-directed work, leadership and motivational skills, excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills are highly valued in this role.
