About the Role

The Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association (SLA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead the organization's day-to-day operations. As a key leadership position, the Executive Director will be responsible for managing staff operations, sustaining the organization's finances, and maintaining and building core activities and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage staff operations and ensure the effective implementation of SLA policies and procedures.
  • Sustain the organization's finances through budget management, grant funding submissions, and strategic planning.
  • Maintain and build core activities and services, including communication with stakeholders and partners.
  • Implement Board policies and ensure accountability for all organizational performance and reputation.
  • Provide primary communication conduit between the SLA Executive, Local Governing Body Presidents, and Lacrosse Canada.
Requirements
  • Strong fiscal management and governance experience, including budget development and management.
  • Experience in developing and managing strategic operating plans and grant funding submissions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as travel provincially and nationally to attend SLA and Lacrosse Canada events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, accounting, and presentation software.
