About the Role

Casual Retail Sales Associates (RSAs) are key members of the Alcool NB Liquor Retail team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales through product knowledge and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Stay up-to-date on products, promotions, and industry trends to make informed suggestions and maximize sales
  • Process cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and stock management
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks in the store warehouse
  • Perform routine office, clerical, and light cleaning tasks as needed

Requirements

  • At least 19 years old and not currently employed by a brewing, distilling, or alcohol-producing company (as per the Liquor Control Act)
  • At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, with previous experience in the alcohol or service industry an asset
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs to receive and process stock
  • Legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Ability to work flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, weekends, and short notice call-in as required
