As a Registered Practical Nurse at Verve Senior Living, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RPN to join our team at White Cliffe Terrace, working part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing interventions and care to residents within your scope of practice.
- Distribute medications as per resident medication times.
- Perform treatments and make assessments regarding changes in residents' conditions.
- Update resident care plans and complete all necessary charting.
- Facilitate communication with nursing staff and initiate referrals to interdisciplinary team members.
- Work collaboratively with departments to ensure excellent care and service.
- Utilize resources effectively and provide direction to front-line nursing staff.
- Supervise and investigate staff actions, and redirect and mentor as needed.
- Recognized nursing license (RPN) and good standing.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and MDS/RAI.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Practical Nurse.
- Experience working in a union setting.
