Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu requirements.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our menu items meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our kitchen and food service areas meet the highest standards of health and safety, and that our staff are trained to follow proper food handling and preparation procedures.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
