About the Role

Cattail Crossing Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Golf Course Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Golf Course Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the golf course is well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to design and implement landscape constructions, including planting trees, flowers, and shrubs.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the golf course's vegetation by removing weeds, pruning trees, and trimming plants to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain the golf course's grass at the optimal height.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the transportation and application of topsoil, fertilizers, and other materials to maintain the golf course's soil quality.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant new vegetation to enhance the golf course's aesthetic appeal.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers to maintain the health and growth of the golf course's vegetation.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Write Daily Basic Progress Reports: Document daily progress and tasks completed to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Ensure the golf course's vegetation receives adequate water and care.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain equipment used for landscape maintenance tasks.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Regularly lift and move heavy loads, including equipment and materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Perform tasks that require sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling to maintain the golf course's vegetation.
