Cattail Crossing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Golf Course Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course is well-manicured and visually appealing. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions to maintain the course's aesthetic appeal.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to keep the course looking its best.
  • Cut grass to maintain the course's playing surface.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance the course's features.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and vibrancy to the course.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it is used safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work 32 to 60 hours per week.
