About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our BizTech Salesforce team at Jobber. As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating Salesforce with other Jobber systems and optimizing Salesforce performance to enable our sales and customer success teams to build better relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new processes and automation in Salesforce to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Enable and install new app integrations with Salesforce to contribute to a unified user experience across different systems.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, debugging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to find optimal solutions to ensure smooth operation of Salesforce.
  • Strategize system maintenance-related projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define the roadmap to maintain the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the Salesforce platform.
  • Seek out and evaluate new technologies, tools, and systems to achieve a state-of-the-art tech stack, contributing to the overall advancement of Jobber's Salesforce platform infrastructure.
  • Leverage Salesforce capabilities to optimize business processes, automate workflows, and achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer, developing and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud Solutions.
  • Extensive experience working with Apex.
  • Experience with Salesforce deployment tooling, with a preference for Gearset.
  • Ability to work with Git version control and familiarity with deploying with Git.
  • Able knowledge of Salesforce limits.
  • Experience in working with SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce declarative programming tools such as Process Builder and Flow Builder/Cloud Flow Designer.
  • Experience in working with data migration and import tools such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.
  • Desire to collaborate. Experience working across multiple business units, comprising many stakeholders and influencing factors.
  • Ownership and growth mindset. You are driven to do the right things and often find yourself in the driver's seat.
  • Proven troubleshooting experience. You'll be very familiar with Salesforce best practices and the ability to recommend changes to our process that will increase efficiency for our internal teams.
  • Ability to be highly adaptable. You will need to support the high-performing sales and success teams with ad-hoc requests and help in removing barriers/enabling new pathways on an ever-changing landscape.
  • A passion for technology. You are naturally curious about technology and tend to be an early adopter for most things.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Configuration and Administration.
  • Experience with Heroku Connect.
  • Experience in developing integrated solutions using REST and/or SOAP.
  • Familiarity with building reports and dashboards.
  • Valid Salesforce developer certification.
