About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our BizTech Salesforce team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for integrating Salesforce with other Jobber systems and optimizing Salesforce performance to enable our sales and customer success teams to build better relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new processes and automation in Salesforce to streamline operations and enhance productivity
  • Enable and install new App integrations with Salesforce to contribute to a unified user experience across different systems
  • Conduct thorough analysis, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to find optimal solutions to ensure smooth operation of Salesforce
  • Strategize system maintenance-related projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define the roadmap to maintain the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the Salesforce platform
  • Seek out and evaluate new technologies, tools, and systems to achieve a state-of-the-art tech stack, contributing to the overall advancement of Jobber's Salesforce platform infrastructure
  • Leverage Salesforce capabilities to optimize business processes, automate workflows, and achieve operational excellence
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer, developing and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud Solutions
  • Extensive experience working with Apex
  • Experience with Salesforce deployment tooling, with a preference for Gearset
  • Ability to work with Git version control and familiarity with deploying with Git
  • Able knowledge of Salesforce limits
  • Experience in working with SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning components
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience
  • Experience with Salesforce declarative programming tools such as Process Builder and Flow Builder/Cloud Flow Designer
  • Experience in working with data migration and import tools such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard
  • Desire to collaborate, with experience working across multiple business units, comprising many stakeholders and influencing factors
  • Ownership and growth mindset, with a proven track record of driving results and influencing people, processes, and decisions
  • Proven troubleshooting experience, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and the ability to recommend changes to our process that will increase efficiency for our internal teams
  • Ability to be highly adaptable, with a willingness to support the high-performing sales and success teams with ad-hoc requests and help in removing barriers/enabling new pathways on an ever-changing landscape
  • Passion for technology, with a natural curiosity about technology and a tendency to be an early adopter for most things
