Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager who has 5+ years project management experience in the private sector land development industry to join our team.

You will be responsible for overseeing onsite wastewater projects for private servicing, acting as the main point of contact with clients, directing internal workloads, providing technical support, and managing financial aspects of projects. To be successful in this role, you enjoy client-facing interactions and strengthening external relationships, while leading internal project designs and teams to ensure project success.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of technically challenging projects, ranging from residential single-family homes to large custom homes, as well as larger commercial, industrial systems, and golf courses. You will collaborate with project managers to identify project requirements and relay them to internal design teams, manage day-to-day client interactions, communicate effectively with clients and internal/external project teams, and continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project proposals, timelines, specifications, and work schedules
  • Assemble teams and resources to identify deliverables and timelines, prepare and modify plans/designs, assisting clients in advancing projects toward completion
  • Assist with and direct the preparation of design briefs and sewage system design and assessment documents for residential, commercial, and industrial sewage system applications
  • Oversee the preparation of engineering designs and briefs, technical reports, and submissions to support projects through various municipal and provincial approvals
  • Review designs and deliverables for quality control
  • Cultivate strong client relations and liaise with professional colleagues and municipal/agency staff to move projects forward
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a relatable degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years project management experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment
  • In-depth working knowledge and project experience with onsite wastewater and septic system principles
  • Well-developed knowledge of Ontario Building Code (Part 8), Provincial and Municipal standards and their application to specific projects
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills and ability to prioritize/manage multiple project timelines

Crozier offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
