Equest is the leading provider of automotive dealership management systems in North America, with over 30 years of experience and a strong reputation for innovation. We are currently seeking an experienced Team Lead to join our Project Management team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management processes and workflows, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The role involves supporting the growth and development of the Project Management team through leadership, coaching, and teamwork, as well as ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Review and approve project completion incentives and corporate credit card expenses
- Ensure that the Project Management team is following established processes and procedures
- Provide guidance, instruction, and corrective feedback as required to the Project Management team
- Lead the project team to success by providing clear direction, motivation, and support
- Create project plans, outlining tasks and timelines for completion
- Identify potential risks and take measures to mitigate them before they can negatively impact the project
- Solve problems that may arise during a project
- Communicate with project teams, including internal and external stakeholders
- Manage relationships between the project team, internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor progress of assigned projects and ensure that they remain on schedule
- Minimum of two PBS certifications
- Strong understanding of project management processes and workflows
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to provide constructive criticism and feedback to support ongoing training and development
- Able to organize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Able to work collaboratively with the project team to achieve goals
- Able to travel within Canada and the USA a minimum of 2 weeks per month
