Job Summary

This is an entry-level position that involves supporting the kitchen team in various tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen area. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with meal preparation, including food handling and portion control
  • Operate dishwashers and maintain cleanliness of the dishroom
  • Stock and store ingredients, supplies, and equipment in designated areas
  • Participate in routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-6 months of previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 20 lbs
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
