About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiving Professional to join our team at VON Canada. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Immunization records and vulnerable sector check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
