Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Northern Health Authority's standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing, including community health content, from a recognized University.
- Three (3) years recent related experience in nursing, including teaching, supervisory or program coordination experience.
- Registration with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Current valid Driver's License.
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Experience in leadership and management roles, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
- Knowledge of Northern Health Authority's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
