Job Title: Nursing Program Leader

We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Nursing Program Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to staff, coordinating resources, and determining workforce plans to enable the delivery of quality patient care.

About the Role:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff, including selection decisions, performance reviews, and training needs.
  • Coordinate resources, including determining workforce plans, establishing work assignments, and monitoring activities.
  • Administer, oversee, and coordinate the delivery of health services for direct patient care.
  • Facilitate solutions to work problems and issues, and provide direct patient care as required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
  • Advanced preparation in the designated clinical specialty area(s), three year's recent related experience in a management/leadership position, and four years recent clinical experience in designated clinical specialty area(s); or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
